‘Tis the month of Maying! Weekends are getting packed with great events this spring, since there is never a lack of variety when it comes to fun things to do in South Jersey!
May the force be with you as this weekend brings the Official Star Wars Convention. Live music events, wine and beer tastings, two plays and a sport bike show are also on this weekend’s agenda. Don’t forget great kids activities, too!

Tickets are available now for PerkinsCenterfor the Arts’ annual spring fundraiser in Collingswoodon May 12, 2012. This beer tasting will feature a large silent auction, handmade beer steins, live music and delicious food. All proceeds from the event will support the arts and arts education programs ofPerkinsCenter at our facilities in Moorestown andCollingswood,NJ.
Try beer from 7 different breweries in the area, including root beer! Enjoy music from the Ong’s Hat Band and delicious made to order food from Elements Café inHaddonHeights, all for just $45. The event will also feature food from the new Keg & Kitchen restaurant in Westmont.

The Readers Digest We Hear You America Contest has Collingswood abuzz with talks of winning some serious cash for town projects! The next events have Collingswood Borough hoping for a #8 spot and at least 50,000 votes per voting party.
After a wildly successful “Get Out the Vote Day” in January, Collingswood has scheduled two more Vote Day events on February 1 and February 28 to push the town to a $10,000 prize winning spot in the Readers Digest We Hear You America Contest. (more…)
