Santa will welcome families at his Collingswood Headquarters in the front window of West Side Gravy Restaurant, 714 Haddon Avenue. When you visit with Santa, bring a canned good donation for the Custodian/Maintenance Food Drive of Collingswood.

If you think all cover bands play the same tunes, think again. King Piece rocks out songs you know and love that most other bands won’t touch!  We don’t know about you, but we definitely don’t want to hear the same 30 songs we heard last weekend from another band.

Washington Township Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Foundation in partnership with Salina Wine & Liquor Presents its 5th Annual Wine Tasting & Food Event on Friday, November 4, 2011 at Wedgwood Country Club, Grand Ballroom. This event features over 200 WINES from around the world as well as a fabulous selection of hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, saute` station, desserts and live music.

Haddonfield First Friday

Thanksgiving Eve, SoJo Style

Some people call it the best party night of the year. Others call it amateur hour. Whichever your view, there’s plenty to do on Thanksgiving Eve in SoJo!  Bars, always thinking up innovative ways to turn a mid-week buck, indulge this tradition by offering drink specials, live music and general promises of overcrowding and debauchery. South Jersey’s Non-Traditional Fitness “Tribe”

We keep seeing the name: Crossfit. On telephone poles, lawn signs, and social media. We became curious and thought we’d check them out.  While most workout programs we’ve seen in the area concentrate on one area – cardio, dance, bootcamp, etc., Crossfit seems to offer a mix between bootcamp training, core conditioning and… gymnastics?  Yes, the multi disciplinary approached offered here is NOT your grandma’s workout.  (more…)
