There are tons of delectable food, wine and beer events in our heavily populated region! And what a gorgeous weekend to take a day trip down the shore! Check out all the great events this weekend, as well as those coming in the near future. There’s a lot to mark on your calendars, foodie fans!
Pig Roast at the Vineyard, Friday, May 18th from 6pm-9pm. Unionville Vineyards, Ringoes, NJ. Succulent portly roasted pig with hors d’ oeuvres and a buffet provided by Ol’ West BBQ. Dinner includes an assortment of Unionville’s classic wines. A walk in the vineyard will be guided by acclaimed winemaker, Cameron Stark. He will explain how vine are nurtured and tended throughout the year. Live entertainment will be provided by singer, song writer John Sonntag. Please come out and support this great cause -Joe Joe’s Place, whose mission is to help save animals from high kill shelters, provide medical procedures, and place loving pets in forever homes. All proceeds will help this caring shelter buy some much-needed supplies.

Ginger Coyle Live in Mount Holly
Ginger Coyle to perform live tonight in Mount Holly
Without question, Ginger Coyle is an old soul. She is one of Philadelphia’s latest artists to emerge onto the music scene, playfully weaving her conscious lyrics and soulful pop melodies over acoustic guitar and driving piano. When she was fresh out of high school in 2003 Ginger won her first demo deal on the Wayne Brady Show taking first place in a talent search sponsored by Hard Rock. Since then she has opened for acts like Flobots, Cobra Starship, & B.O.B. Her previous band The Thunderkatz (signed to Universal Motown / Murder Inc) toured the midwest with rock band Third Eye Blind. Chances are you might even recognize her face from gracing the cover of international tattoo publication PRICK with her pet rabbit. (more…)

It all began in Boston in 1976 with a small local group of artists who were inspired to create a new kind of New Year’s revelry emphasizing community spirit. Now, First Night New Year’s Eve Celebrations can be found all over the country Right here in Haddonfield, the tradition continues, emphasizing a family-friendly, alcohol free celebration of the arts on New Year’s Eve.
