Winnie the Pooh
Welcome to the Hundred Acre Wood, where the world’s most beloved bear, Winnie the Pooh, is once again in search of honey. Along the way, he shares adventures with pals Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit, Eeyore, Owl, and Christopher Robbin. Based on the classic A.A. Milne stories, Winnie the Pooh is a favorite for all ages. Join Mainstage Center for the Arts as it presents Winnie the Pooh, sponsored by Techniques Salon & Day Spa July 11, 7:30 p.m., July 12& 13, 10:30 a.m. in the newly renovated fully accessible Dennis Flyer Theatre, Lincoln Hall, Camden County College, 200 College Drive, Blackwood, NJ. Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird soared to the top of the bestseller’s list upon its 1960 release with its groundbreaking portrayal of racial injustice. Its messages of tolerance, justice, dignity, and courage continue to remain important today. A Family Friendly New Year’s Eve Celebrates the Arts!
It all began in Boston in 1976 with a small local group of artists who were inspired to create a new kind of New Year’s revelry emphasizing community spirit. Now, First Night New Year’s Eve Celebrations can be found all over the country Right here in Haddonfield, the tradition continues, emphasizing a family-friendly, alcohol free celebration of the arts on New Year’s Eve.
First Night Haddonfield boasts an impressive lineup of live performers (below). In addition to the scheduled performances, food stands, strolling street performers, and musicians will take to the streets and sidewalks downtown for the convenience and enjoyment of all visitors. (more…)
