A Family Friendly New Year’s Eve Celebrates the Arts!

It all began in Boston in 1976 with a small local group of artists who were inspired to create a new kind of New Year’s revelry emphasizing community spirit. Now, First Night New Year’s Eve Celebrations can be found all over the country Right here in Haddonfield, the tradition continues, emphasizing a family-friendly, alcohol free celebration of the arts on New Year’s Eve.

First Night Haddonfield boasts an impressive lineup of live performers (below).  In addition to the scheduled performances, food stands, strolling street performers, and musicians will take to the streets and sidewalks downtown for the convenience and enjoyment of all visitors. (more…)

Books are available in more than thirty categories including: mystery, travel, cooking, art and music, children’s books, science fiction and much more. Prices start at 50 cents. On Saturday, November 19, fill a grocery bag with books for only $5!
